Overview
Ras Al Khaimah is one of the seven emirates of the United Arab Emirates. It is located in the north eastern part of the United Arab Emirates and borders on Oman. With an area of 1683 square kilometres, and a population of about 300,000, it has been governed by His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, since 2010.
