Health and Safety
At RAK Petroleum we believe that a safe and healthy working environment is essential, that all occupational injuries and property losses are preventable through good management practice and that HSE is both a line management and individual responsibility. To achieve this at the workplace RAK Petroleum strives to provide:
- A safe and healthy working environment along with safe working systems designed to reduce the risk to personnel;
- Initial and ongoing training in the recognition and management of hazards;
- Training in emergency response procedures;
- Compliance with all applicable local and international regulations;
- A system of regular audits of the HSE system at various worksites and offices;
- Properly engineered facilities, plant and equipment that have a high level of HSE awareness designed into them; and
- A system of monitoring, recording and reporting of HSE statistics aimed at a steady improvement in performance.
