Code of Ethics
RAK Petroleum operates under a policy of ethical behaviour that ensures all potential partners, suppliers and contractors are evaluated fairly in a transparent process leading to the award of an agreement, order or a contract.
The policy forbids suppliers or contractors or partners from offering an inducement to any Company official or staff member with the intention of influencing a Company decision. It also expressly forbids the offering of an inducement by RAK Petroleum to any Government official to influence a decision regarding the Company’s business.
The Company follows rigorous auditing procedures, both internally and by utilising external auditing firms.
The Company treats partners, suppliers and contractors fairly, ethically and with respect and expects to be treated in the same manner.
The Company places trust in its staff and approved partners and contractors to recognise right and wrong. Behaviour that can be reasonably interpreted as unethical shall disqualify a partner, supplier or contractor from future business with the Company and may lead to criminal proceedings where warranted.
