Vision and Mission
Inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, RAK Petroleum Public Company Limited is an upstream oil and gas company focused geographically on the Middle East and North Africa.
It was formed as a public company limited in the Free Trade Zone of Ras Al Khaimah with an initial capital of AED 3 Billion (USD 820 Million), raised through private placement. RAK Petroleum's shares are closely held by leading corporations, regional banks, insurance companies, investment funds and prominent individuals in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.
The Company's assets and strategic investments are uniquely positioned in the heart of the world’s most prolific oil and gas provinces and the Company builds on its strong political connections, top quality management and track record as an efficient operator of oil and gas concessions to drive future growth through drilling and strategic acquisitions.
